Over the years it s grown into a complex of 23 greenhouses on over 10 acres with generations of the wilson family still working in the business. Now we ve blended the rugged aesthetic of a wholesale nursery with a classic and artful eye for detail as well as the exceptional plants for which wilson s is known. We grow 75 percent of all the plants we sell and we pass the savings on to you.

Deeply rooted as a wholesale nursery for 20 years we once catered exclusively to the professionals who shaped central kentucky landscapes. Wilson s nursery garden center was started in 1952 by james wilson as an open air market. Our team of hardworking professionals is continuing to grow the crops we bring to you each season. Wilson s has over 2 acres of greenhouses that are stocked full of annuals perennials shrubs herbs fruit plants vegetables interior plants and more.

About wilson s we re a nostalgic neighborhood grocery store butcher and deli located right outside downtown. We hand cut all our meat and our sausages and salads are made in house.
